Experimental Study on Development of Mooring Simulator for Multi Floating Cranes

In this study, the coupled motion of a mooring system and multifloating cranes were analyzed. For analysis, combined equations motions line introduced. The multibody for floating derived from motion. finite element method (FEM) was used to derive solve stretchable catenary problem line. To verify function simulator, calculation results compared with commercial software. validate analysis results, we conducted an experimental test offshore operation using two crane models scaled 1:40. Two pile model established uprighting flare towers. During test, tensions lines measured. Through accuracy program developed in study verified. Therefore, if is used, it will be possible perform simulation at same time as maritime work simulation.
